I love maternity shoots and this one was particularly special because we almost share a due date! We met in Old Town Pasadena just before sunset and bounced around to a couple different spots I had scouted out the day before. Once they warmed up to the idea of being in front of the camera they really shined.

E Family - Baptism
I love working with this family and had been looking forward to Lex's baptism for a while. The unpredictably awful Los Angeles traffic tried its best to slow me down, but I made it to Our Lady of the Angels Cathedral, Downtown LA, just in the nick of time! The ceremony was light and uplifting and the Priest was the first I've seen in robes and Crocs! (I guess it makes sense because he's in and out of the water...)

Teresa's Maternity Shoot
I had the pleasure of working with two of the sweetest first time parents-to-be! And they couldn't be more thrilled with the upcoming arrival of their new family member! It was a blast capturing both the silly and tender moments shared between these two - a true joy to photograph! I'm anxiously waiting to take photos of their little one sometime in the next few months. Congrats you two! :)

E - Family's First Photoshoot!
I was so lucky to photograph little Lex when he was brand new and it's so fun to see him growing up! Back in November he wasn't much in the mood for photos, but this time he made up for it with all smiles! What a beautiful family!
It's these type of shoots that make it all worth getting up early on a Sunday morning. =)
